Biography

My name is Krisna, some calls me Imed. I am a lecturer at Politeknik APP Jakarta, a vocational school under Ministry of Industry. My research is about trade and investment policy and how it affects Indonesian firms. I use some structured equation such as GTAP model, but also do some empirics like gravity models.

I am a lecturer at Politeknik APP Jakarta (full-time) and Universitas Indonesia. Additionally, I assume a senior fellow position at Center for Indonesian Policy Studies.

The recent Indonesia’s 200% tariff aimed at Chinese products proposed by the Indonesian Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), startled businesses. Some love it, some others despise it. I did some cover videos with my friends. The collaboration is done completely online, which is very convinient since COVID-19 requires measures of physical distancing and we have no plan violating those measures. I mainly sing in these vids while also play some instruments. It is also fun to learn a bit of mixing although my mixing skill is really crappy.

Ok so I also play with this app called Smule which basically a karaoke app. In this app, I often sing japanese song such as L`arc~en~Ciel and One Ok Rock, and I really love dueting with people! If you also play smule, let’s follow each other!
